Quran Tadabbur Halaqa

Understand the Quran. Reflect on Its Guidance. Apply It to Your Life.

Join us every Wednesday during school term time as we reflect on the Quran through Tadabbur while learning practical CBT/REBT tools to help implement Quranic guidance in our thoughts, emotions, behaviours and daily lives.

Grow Alongside a Community of Sisters Seeking Allah Together

Many of us long to understand the Quran more deeply but struggle to apply its guidance consistently in our daily lives. We also know that the journey to Allah is not one we were meant to travel alone.

This weekly halaqah offers a welcoming space where sisters can learn, reflect and grow together, encouraging one another while building a deeper relationship with Allah.

Through a practical step by step framework, you'll gain the confidence to understand the Quran, reflect upon its meanings and apply its guidance to your thoughts, emotions, behaviours and daily life, one surah at a time.

You're not just registering for a weekly class, you're becoming part of a community of sisters committed to growing closer to Allah together.

Each week, we'll gather to study the Quran one passage at a time, sharing a journey of learning, reflection and practical action. As the weeks go by, you'll build lasting habits, encourage one another and develop the confidence to continue understanding, reflecting on and applying the Quran in your own life.

What to expect

Each session follows a simple, practical framework designed to help you move beyond gaining knowledge and begin implementing it in your daily life.

Intention and goal

Quranic recitation, translation and brief Tafseer

Guided reflection (Tadabbur)

Building healthy beliefs

Strengthening healthy beliefs

Discovering the costs and benefits

Creating a practical action plan

Dua

By following the same framework each week, you'll gradually develop the confidence to understand, reflect upon and apply the guidance of the Quran independently, one surah at a time.

Come Prepared

To get the most from each session, we encourage you to come prepared to learn, reflect and participate.

Please bring:

Your Quran or a Quran app (if you wish)

A notebook or journal

A pen

An open heart and sincere intention to seek knowledge and grow closer to Allah

Each session is designed to be interactive, so you'll have opportunities to take notes, reflect on the verses and create practical action steps to implement throughout the week.

About Your Halaqah Leader

Assalamu alaikum, I'm Fatima Bint Saeed, an Aalimah, NCPS Accredited Psychotherapist and the founder of Peaceful Muslimah.

For many years, I've been passionate about helping Muslim women strengthen their relationship with Allah through both authentic Islamic knowledge and practical personal development. While Islamic reminders can inspire us, lasting change comes when we learn how to understand, reflect upon and implement Allah's guidance in our daily lives.

This weekly Quran Tadabbur Halaqah brings together the knowledge gained through traditional Islamic studies with practical CBT/REBT tools, helping you develop healthier thinking, strengthen your emotional wellbeing and build a closer relationship with Allah, one surah at a time.

My hope is to create more than just a weekly halaqah. I pray this becomes a supportive community of sisters who encourage one another to seek knowledge, implement the Quran and grow together for the sake of Allah.

Who is the halaqah for?

The halaqah is open to all sisters aged 18 years and over, whether you're beginning your journey with the Quran or looking to deepen your understanding through Tadabbur and practical application.

Can I join after the the first halaqa has taken place?

Yes, you're welcome to join after the first halaqah, as each session focuses on one surah or passage of the Quran. However, we highly recommend joining from the very beginning to gain the greatest benefit, as each week builds upon the habits, reflection and practical framework introduced in earlier sessions.

Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. While there is currently no fixed limit on numbers, space at the venue is limited, and once capacity has been reached, we may be unable to accommodate additional attendees.

Do I need any previous Islamic knowledge?

No. Each session includes the Quranic verses, translation and a brief explanation before moving into reflection and practical implementation.

What should I bring?

Please bring your Quran or a Quran app( if you wish), a notebook or journal, and a pen so you can take notes and record your reflections and action points.

Is there a fee?

No, the halaqah is free to attend, but registration is required.

Will there be homework?

Each session ends with practical action points to help you implement what you've learned throughout the week. While there's no formal homework, you're encouraged to reflect on and practise these steps before the next session.
